Artem Dovbyk was on the fringes of the Ukraine team which reached the quarter-finals at Euro 2020 but he will have a much more prominent role to play this summer and looks a solid favourite to score the most goals for his country.

At Euro 2020 Dovbyk was restricted to just one substitute appearance although he made it count by scoring the winner in a 2-1 extra-time success over Sweden in the round of 16.

He has made excellent strides over the last three years and will arrive in Germany full of confidence after a superb debut season with Girona.

Dovbyk helped himself to 24 league goals with his new employers and beat off competition from the likes of Robert Lewandowki, Antoine Griezmann and Vinicius Junior to finish top of the La Liga scoring charts.

His international scoring record – eight goals in 26 appearances – is modest but an improvement can be expected over the next few years, starting with a few goals at Euro 2024.

Tall RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko was Slovenia's main man in qualifying, scoring five of 20 goals, and he should top their scoring charts this summer.

Sesko has been a prolific scorer from a young age.

He made his debut for RB Salzburg as a 17-year-old and went on to score 21 goals in 55 Austrian Bundesliga appearances.

Sesko's exploits in Austria earned him a move to RB Leipzig last summer, and he excelled in his first season with the club, scoring 18 goals across all competitions.

There should be scope for plenty more improvement from Sesko, who only turned 21 last month.

He is already established as a key player for club and country and is likely to further enhance his reputation over the next few weeks.

Marko Arnautovic has played some of his best football in the twilight of his career and could be Austria's main goal threat this summer.

International football did not always come easily to Arnautovic, who bagged just eight goals in his first 40 appearances for Austria.

However, he has become more effective towards the end of his career and he netted five times during Austria's failed bid to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

Arnautovic faces competition for a striking berth from Freiburg striker Michael Gregoritsch, who netted three goals during Euro 2024 qualification.

However, the former West Ham man will be determined to make an impact in what could be his last major tournament and he can outscore his team-mates.

Chelsea striker Armando Broja should have a point to prove after failing to score during a disappointing loan spell at Fulham and he could be Albania's main man at Euro 2024.

Broja has struggled with form and fitness in recent times but he remains Albania's first choice centre-forward and looks their best hope of finding the net in some tough Group B fixtures against Italy, Croatia and Spain.

The 22-year-old bagged the opening goal as Albania eased to a 3-0 warm up victory at home to Liechtenstein and he might only need to score once to be his team's top scorer this summer.
