Manager Profile

Francesco Calzona had a brief playing career in the 1980s before becoming an amateur coach. He climbed up the ranks as an assistant to Maurizio Sarri, working with the Italian from 2008 to 2018. He took the Slovakia job in 2022 and was called back to Napoli as caretaker boss until the end of the recently completed Serie A season, combining both international and domestic roles.
