Veteran coach Luciano Spalletti made his reputation at unfancied Udinese, securing Champions League qualification in 2004-05, before successful spells in charge of Roma and Zenit St Petersburg. His career highlight came in 2022-23, when his Napoli side romped to the Serie A title, and he replaced Euro 2020-winning manager Roberto Mancini as Azzurri boss in August 2023.
